Colony Music Center Reportedly Set To Close It's Doors

Jeremiah's Vanishing New York and the New York Times.com both reported earlier today that the word is out that Colony Music Center, in business at 1619 Broadway in New York City for the past 60 years, will close their doors for the final time at some point in the near future. I can't say I've spent a ton of dough in the place, but I have picked up a few cool rock and roll trinkets there each time I've visited New York since 2004, most of them found in the "Kiss" display case.
